H Rick Goff was born in the small town of Fitzgerald, Georgia. While still a “small town” boy at heart, he now resides in beautiful San Antonio, Texas, the Alamo City. H Rick proudly served in the United States Air Force for over twenty years. While in the military, he traveled extensively and loved the adventure of visiting and living in new and different places all over the world. He worked in “Corporate America” for several years where again he was able to travel and see the world from many different perspectives.  But his passion has always been writing. H Rick’s first book, A Gorilla Ridin' on a Half a Hot Dog, shared the adventures and the fun he had watching and sharing life through the eyes of his two young boys.  It was a special time as he was figuring out Fatherhood and his boys were just being little boys! His second book, A Line in The Water, shares how he found and forged lifelong friendships while on fishing adventures with “fishing buddies.” It is an insightful look at how a childhood hobby became a lifelong passion and helped shape his outlook on life in general.

H Rick Goff lives life to the fullest through his faith, family, and friends. He is an adventure seeker who loves the outdoors and appreciates watching a beautiful morning sunrise and evening sunset! He “smells the roses” while still making sure he adds something to the fabric of life by giving back in any way he can. H Rick has honorably served his country, ran for political office, hiked trails all over the country, put a line in the water at any fishing hole in his path, jumped out of a perfectly good airplane, and hacked up several nice golf courses. He is now a published author living his passion!
